Applying for Drama Schools and Acting courses can be a minefield. Knowing where to apply, and crucially how to apply, is an essential step to the process of gaining a place on one of the prestigious Acting courses people are looking to get accepted on.
Some Drama Schools are applied for via UCAS, some via the Conservatoire part of UCAS, and others are completely independent, meaning that you apply to them directly.
We have years of experience in advising students and an up-to-date knowledge of how to apply, where you should apply, and what places might be best suited to you.
There is also information on completing personal statements, subsidiary application forms and the timings of your applications.
Note: If you undertake any of the individual or group courses then this will be built into the process and therefore you will not need to undertake this separately.
Cost: £50 per session.
(If students subsequently sign-up for one of our group or individual courses they will receive a discount if they have undertaken this session)
Please see the list of questions about the course. If you have any further questions then please get in touch.
The average length of a session is one hour, although you may have further questions and it may run slightly over this time. We want you to make sure you feel that you have all the information that you need and want, and therefore we are not strict to the hour limit.
Our tutors have had a great deal of success working with students applying for drama schools, and have supported countless students gaining places at some of the best drama schools in the world, including RADA, LAMDA, Guildhall, Bristol Old Vic., Central School for Speech and Drama, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, East 15 and Rose Bruford.
We have supported students with their UCAS applications, writing of personal statements and independent application forms. They have also had professional industry experience as well as sitting on audition panels at drama schools.
Although this session is for students who are looking to apply to Drama School and Acting courses, it can also be useful for parents and guardians to have some understanding of what the process involves. Therefore, we will often have parents and guardians joining these sessions, or a part of these sessions, so that they are fully in the loop and can ask any questions that they may have.
Yes. You will receive an information pack that covers all of the main areas that we have talked through in the session so that you can revisit and refer to them afterwards.
We will work out a time that is mutually convenient for both yourselves and our tutors. This could be during an evening, or over the weekend. It may also be able to be in the daytime if this is convenient and possible.
You should have all the information that you require to apply to Drama Schools and Acting courses.
If you would then like further practical guidance you can sign up for one of our courses. As you have undertaken this session you will receive a discount off of the price of any of our group or solo courses.

Our coaches are all well qualified, both as teachers and as experts in their disciplines. They are all fully DBS checked to ensure care and safety.
The nature of the work being recorded and set as assignments means that parents and guardians can have full access to all that is being sent out to students.
